Thank you for selecting Tanan Moraine Lake Shuttle, operated by Tanan Inc. By purchasing a ticket or otherwise engaging with our services, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Passenger” or “Customer”) and Tanan Inc. If you are purchasing or reserving on behalf of others, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind all participants to these Terms.
We strongly advise all passengers to read these Terms in full prior to completing a reservation, as they govern your rights, responsibilities, and the scope of our obligations.
All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes, including a mandatory 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST), will be applied at checkout. A non-negotiable $15.99 Parks Canada Moraine Lake Road License of Occupation fee is also charged per shuttle trip.
All reservations must be paid in full in Canadian Dollars at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Transactions are processed securely through Setmore. Passengers are encouraged to review Setmore’s Terms of Use.
Shuttle services will proceed as scheduled regardless of inclement weather conditions, including rain, snow, or wildfire smoke. Weather-related cancellations or refunds are not permitted. Passengers are responsible for preparing appropriately for variable mountain weather. See our FAQ for preparation tips.
Regular Shuttle Bookings:
- Cancellations made seven (7) or more days before the scheduled departure are eligible for a refund, less a $5.00 processing fee.
- Date or time changes may be requested up to 72 hours before departure, subject to availability.
- If rescheduled to a lower-priced time slot, the original fare remains applicable.
- Cancellations made within seven (7) days of departure are non-refundable.
- All change or cancellation requests must be submitted via email to tours@tananshuttle.com or by phone at +1 (403) 919-4299.
Private Shuttle Bookings:
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations:
- 14+ days before departure → refund less the deposit.
- 7–14 days → 50% refund of the total amount.
- Fewer than 7 days → no refund.
- Changes must be requested at least 72 hours in advance. If rescheduling is not possible, no refund will be issued.
If Cancellation is Initiated by Tanan Inc.:
Should Tanan Inc. need to cancel a service (e.g., due to emergencies or mechanical issues), affected passengers will be notified promptly and given the option of a full refund or rescheduling. Delays or disruptions caused by third-party factors (e.g., traffic, road closures, guest tardiness) are not eligible for compensation.
Certain tours require a minimum of 5 passengers to operate. This requirement will be noted during the booking process. If 8 or fewer seats remain at the time of booking, the tour is considered confirmed. If more than 8 seats remain, the tour is pending confirmation. Should the minimum not be met, passengers will be offered alternative options or a full refund. This applies only to select dates and tours.
Departure times and pickup instructions are specified in your confirmation email. Passengers must arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable. Changes to pickup locations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and confirmed by Tanan Inc. Return times are pre-scheduled and cannot be altered on the day of travel. Passengers who miss their scheduled return shuttle are responsible for arranging alternative transportation at their own cost. Minor variations in timing may occur. If your shuttle has not arrived within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, it has likely departed.

In accordance with Alberta provincial law, children under 6 years of age must be secured in an appropriate child safety seat. For children 2–6 years (or over 40 lbs/18 kg), forward-facing car seats are available upon 24 hours' notice. Infants under 2 years or under 40 lbs require a rear-facing car seat, which must be provided by the customer. Lap-holding of children is not permitted under any circumstances. Children must have their own seat, regardless of age or seating device. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Failure to comply with child safety requirements will result in denial of boarding without refund.
Tanan Inc. shall not be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, civil unrest, war, governmental intervention, or other unforeseeable events (“Force Majeure”). In such cases, Tanan Inc.’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure event. Written notice will be provided within 48 hours of the occurrence.
These Terms and all services provided by Tanan Inc. are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Calgary, Alberta for any legal disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.
By purchasing a ticket and participating in the shuttle service, you, on behalf of yourself and any accompanying parties, waive all claims against Tanan Inc., its employees, agents, and contractors for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience arising from participation in the service—unless otherwise required by law. Tanan Inc. is not liable for misrepresentations regarding service suitability, insurance, or health-related concerns. This includes losses due to omissions, errors, negligence, or actions of staff, agents, or other passengers. Liability for enforceable claims, if any, shall be limited to the lesser of the total fare paid or the maximum extent permitted by law.
All passengers are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including but not limited to medical coverage and trip cancellation protection, to safeguard against unexpected circumstances.
By participating in any shuttle service, you grant Tanan Inc., its representatives, and affiliates the unrestricted right to use photographs, video recordings, or promotional content taken during the trip for advertising or marketing purposes. Passengers consent to the publication and distribution of such materials without compensation.
