Starting in 2025, Parks Canada has implemented a fee for all commercial shuttle operators accessing Moraine Lake. This charge—slightly above $170 per trip—is applied each time a commercial bus enters the area. The money collected is used to support traffic control and infrastructure management around Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.
Pets are not allowed inside the Shuttle service.
All ticket prices cover a round-trip ride—no need to book twice.
Yes! You’ve got two great options:

You’re welcome to bring:
Note: Rigid canoes or kayaks cannot be transported. If you're bringing watercraft, make sure you're compliant with Banff’s water safety rules.
More than 72 hours in advance: You can change your date/time as many times as you like. No refunds, but full flexibility.
Less than 72 hours: No changes or refunds. Due to high demand, we need to offer those seats to other visitors planning their trip.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable if you miss your scheduled shuttle. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
If you miss the last bus, it's an 18-kilometre walk back. Please don’t cut it close!
You can book online up to 1 hour before the shuttle leaves. After that, any leftover seats will be sold in person at the bus stop.

You can view all available shuttle pick-up points on our Pick-Up Locations page, complete with maps and detailed information about parking and access. After booking your tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes your specific pick-up location and instructions.
While we encourage walking to the nearest pick-up location from your accommodation, we understand that it's not always possible. If you're driving instead, please make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Most pick-up points have limited parking available, but space cannot be guaranteed.
Important: If you park at a hotel you’re not staying at, kindly notify the hotel front desk that you’re using their lot for a Tanan shuttle pick-up.
We do not offer door-to-door pick-ups unless you’ve booked a private shuttle. However, our regular pick-up locations are conveniently located throughout Canmore, Harvie Heights, Banff, and Lake Louise, and are within walking distance of most hotels and Airbnbs. These locations stay consistent for all scheduled departures.
If you'd like to change your pick-up location, please contact us ahead of your scheduled trip. Our drivers operate from a strict manifest and will only stop at pre-confirmed locations.
